Sr SAP FICO Analyst (Agriculture)

  • JOB SUMMARY

    The SAP FICO BSA is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business needs. This role acts as a bridge between finance teams and IT, ensuring that SAP solutions align with financial processes, compliance requirements, and strategic goals. The BSA plays a key role in system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing both functional expertise and project leadership.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications.
  • Configure and support SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing) modules.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve reporting.
  • Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, HR) for integrated solutions
  • Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP FICO.
  • Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency environments with global finance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering end-user training.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • SAP FICO certification is preferred
  • Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
