International Logistics Analyst (Finance)



What you will do

As a Global Logistics Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support implementing logistics strategies and processes.  Ensures execution of continuous improvement projects while supporting regional operations/transportation team.  This role reports to the Sr International Logistics Manager US/CA and is are hybrid position in our Milwaukee Headquarters.

How you will do it

  • Create, analyze, and manage shipment bids and mini-RFQs to secure competitive rates and optimize carrier selection.
  • Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound ocean and air shipments impacting the U.S. and Canada regions.
  • Troubleshoot data gaps and system issues within visibility tools and order management platforms, ensuring timely and accurate shipment tracking.
  • Communicate with international freight forwarders and carriers to resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and exceptions.
  • Support sustainability and circular economy initiatives by contributing to environmentally conscious logistics practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with freight audit and payment providers to enhance data accuracy and integration.
  • Partner with internal teams and suppliers to streamline shipping processes, improve service levels, and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain metrics dashboards and reporting tools to enable performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support drayage dispatch activities and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service reliability and cost control.
  • Assist in drafting, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning and warehouse teams to improve logistics coordination and inventory flow.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency, service, and cost savings.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in Logistics, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Internship in international transportation, logistics, supply chain or procurement.
  • Proficiency in contributing in cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), Excel, PowerBI, at ERP systems
  • Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders from diverse cultures.
