Program Analyst, Sr. (Finance)
Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Program Analyst to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in the evaluation and effectiveness of the Suicide Prevention Interagency Management Support Program. The Senior Program Analyst will deliver expert-level analysis and reporting to ensure alignment of VHA suicide prevention initiatives with federal strategies, interagency efforts, and operational requirements. This includes program reviews requiring systematic ways of assessing the quality of current and future VHA programs to determine ways for improvements; measuring successes and outcomes; assisting with the execution of program operations to meet established goals and objectives; and providing input on the program evaluation and improvement to increase productivity and program performance.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis to evaluate suicide prevention programs, initiatives, and interagency activities for effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
Support planning, coordination, and execution of working groups, stakeholder engagements, and program initiatives.
Develop reports, data summaries, briefing materials, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders, including actionable insights to assist with program decisions.
Track, analyze, and report on program performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
Assist in the development of implementation plans and educational materials.
Provide input on risk identification, program resources, and performance improvement strategies.
Collaborate with communications, data, and health subject matter experts to ensure program alignment and integration.
Assist in preparing senior leadership presentations, talking points, and reports.
Support the collection and analysis of information as needed to maintain and update the NSSP Dashboard and MIRECC SharePoint tracking database.
Monitor emerging policies, federal initiatives, and best practices related to suicide prevention and provide program recommendations.
Ensure compliance with VHA and federal policies, reporting standards, and contract requirements.
