Join our dynamic Chief Data Office (CDO) team as a Marketing Data Steward Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and governance of marketing data. Your expertise will ensure that customer data and insights are effectively harnessed to drive strategic decisions, ultimately shaping the future of marketing and consumer engagement at Mars Snacking. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a robust data stewardship strategy, ensuring data quality and governance while fostering a culture of data literacy. Your contributions will not only support our marketing initiatives but also empower our teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Seasoned Professional: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, insights, or AI within large organizations.
  • Data Domain Expertise: Proven experience with marketing and/or consumer data in a large enterprise setting.
  • Data Stewardship Experience: Recent roles in data stewardship, with a strong understanding of business data challenges.
  • Data Literacy: Solid grasp of data models, flows, and structures, ideally from hands-on experience.
  • Data Governance Expertise: Ability to develop and enforce data governance policies; familiarity with cataloging tools like Collibra is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the Charge: Support the Global Director in executing a bold Data and AI stewardship strategy for Marketing and Consumer Engagement.
  • Governance and Quality Champion: Catalog critical data elements and ensure adherence to data governance policies.
  • Information Architecture: Map complex data flows and develop conceptual data models to inform technical model development.
  • AI/Analytics Innovator: Analyze and optimize data plans for AI/Analytics to drive consumer engagement and innovation.
  • Cross-functional Collaborator: Engage with global and regional data stewards to address data issues and communicate progress.
  • Continuous Improvement Advocate: Stay ahead of industry trends and adapt data stewardship processes to meet evolving needs.
  • Influence Data Driven Transformation: Guide Regional Data Stewards in managing data assets across regional and market entities.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 133,067.00 - USD 182,958.00 Apply
