Mechanical Eng I EN (Engineering)
Responsibilities:
- Must be familiar with the design requirements of reciprocating engine's critical components such as power pistons, power cylinders, cylinder liners, heads, crankshaft, bed and block and be able to determine critical to quality (CTQ's) of each of these components
- Must be familiar with integral engine assemblies, including design, assembly process and manufacturing methods
- Must have a strong background on gas compression and combustion related to gas engines
- Must be able to create parametric casting/forging and machining 3D models and associative manufacturing drawings using the master model concept.
- Must be familiar with engineering functions within TeamCenter and SAP, including material master and BOM creation, checking and approval processes.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written communication skills and strong technical presentation skills
- Experience with 3D scanning equipment is preferred, as well as any experience with reverse engineering
- Develop 3-D models produced from the scanned data and work closely with the 3rd party drafting resources to create and release in TeamCenter, our 3-D models and 2-D prints from scanned images
Qualifications :
- Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
- Must be able to read, revise and create detailed drawings, assembly drawings and customer's blueprint, as necessary.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills required
- Must work well in a team environment, have strong organization skills and be able to multitask effectively.
