Director, Account Management - DoD - Express Scripts - Hybrid (Finance)
Role Summary:
TheTPharm Account Management Directoroversees strategic operations and client engagement for the TRICARE Pharmacy (TPharm) program, serving 9.5 million military service members, retirees, and their families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary liaison with Defense Health Agency (DHA) and other government stakeholders for all non-clinical components of the TPharm program.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of initiatives aligned to contract requirements, change orders and new solution opportunities.
- Manage client escalations, including Congressional and other external stakeholder inquiries.
- Team leadership, client relationship management, budget management.
- Ensure end-to-end quality control processes to prevent errors impacting claims adjudication and performance guarantees.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of federal pharmacy benefit programs and TRICARE contract structures.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across government and internal teams.
- Experience intransition planning,dual operations, andsustainment activitiesunder federal healthcare contracts.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and drive performance improvements.
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and government stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external teams.
Qualified Candidates Will Have a Combination of the Following:
- 10+ yearsin PBM account management to clients with 100,000+ covered lives, preferably focused on federal clients.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working directly with the federal government with strong working knowledge of contract requirements.
- Ability to travel, approximately one business trip per month.
