Logistics - Supply Chain Summer Internship

Position Summary

The Logistics Analyst Intern position is a combination of Daily Truck Routing, Data Analytics and Project Management. This role is involved in all stages of the Logistics Analysts Day to Day lifecycle including but not limited to supporting the Order / Route / Load aspect of logistics, data pull and analytics from VIP / RTS & Power BI and project management supporting upcoming key projects like Hard Mt Dew & Maysville GA expansion

Essential Functions

  • Routing Support for Logistics Analysts
    • Importing Orders
    • Loading Combo / GEO
    • Routing Combo Trucks
    • Juice Truck Routing
    • Practice sessions leading to routing small locations (ATH / ZAN / etc)
    • Routing Pass Construction
    • Update new accounts in Combo Routing Pass
    • Checking Paperwork / Marking Ready

  • Support for Maysville transition
    • Data Pulls
    • Data scrub
    • Data analysis
    • Support Routing Optimization Mgr on ReRoute

  • Power BI reporting - Upgrading Current reporting / Analyze what else is needed

  • Analysis on FSV service times due to Gaps in Cantaloupe / Telemetry

  • Hours of Service report for TAM's

  • Weekly TAM + Merch uploads

  • Analysis on Combo Routes - Planned vs Actual time by Driver

  • GreenMile Maintenance
    • New EE Setup
    • Login Issues

  • New Product additions in RTS

  • New Customer setup RTS - Equip / TW / Priority
    • Review current / ID errors

  • Time Window Analysis
    • Comparison by Chain
    • Less than 4 hrs
    • Open after 9:00 - Retail

  • Online Portal Support

  • Teams Channel Analysis

  • Service Time analysis at Customer level

  • Route needs for Hard Mt Dew (Ohio Maysville Cust + KY Franklin Furnace Customers)

  • Support for RTS move to the Cloud - User Testing, etc
    • Collaborative Routing due to Cloud

  • Columbus ReRoute Post Analysis

  • TAM Territory Analysis - Stops / Service Time / Mileage / Tot Hrs

  • Vacation coverage

  • SIPP Calls

  • SOM period Reviews Participation

Education Level

Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Analytics, Logistics, Information Systems, Business Management, Finance or equivalent work experience.

Experience

Requires 0-1 year of experience in the related area.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, VIP, SQL, Access. Other Routing software applications a plus

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Driver's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to worksites.

Additional Requirements

Skills in: Project management, problem solving, troubleshooting, internal customer service. Ability to: collaborate effectively with internal customers and vendors, develop good working relationships. Other functions, skills and abilities may also apply. Apply
