DOT Compliance Administrator (Manufacturing)



The DOT Compliance Administrator is responsible for assisting the Fleet Manager with compliance and DOT recording.

· Fleet Management

o Assists Fleet Manager with registration of company owned assets (IRP and non-commercial)
o Maintains accurate records of vehicle purchases and sales

· Regulatory Compliance

o Assists Fleet Manager with recordkeeping required for Fuel Tax reporting
§ Includes IFTA and state specific fuel taxes (KS, NM, OR, NY, KY)
o Assists Fleet Manager with permit renewals
§ MCS-150
§ Unified carrier registration (UCR)
§ Haz-Mat (Alliance, GA, CA, WI, CO, TN, IL FL Used Oil, MI Liquid Waste)
§ Amber light permits (NV, GA)
o Audits driver logs for HOS compliance
o Pays toll bills and maintains billing records for toll allocation (K-Tag and Pre-Pass)

· Driver Records

o Runs annual MVR for all company drivers
o Maintains the driver list for insurance purposes
o Maintains Driver Qualification files
§ Current DL or CDL
§ Medical certification (if required)
§ Record of violations
§ Accident files
§ Training records

· DOT Drug Testing Program

o Assists Fleet Manager with maintaining records related to DOT drug testing program

· Driver Compliance

o Assist drivers with ELD technical issues, including log edits
o Audits driver logs for HOS compliance
o Maintains EFS card program
o Maintains permit books for trucks
o Assist drivers with CDL requirements (fingerprinting, medical exams, endorsement testing)
o Assist drivers with expense reports

· Miscellaneous

o Assists with accident reporting, accident investigations and insurance claims
Performs other duties as assigned.
