Manager Supply Chain and Logistics (Finance)

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining cost-effectiveness, high-quality standards, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships.Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Job

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Oversee procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts and service-level agreements.
  • Monitor and forecast inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize holding costs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Production, and Finance to align supply chain activities.
  • Optimize logistics and transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and environmental laws.
  • Analyze supply chain data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain, warehouse, and logistics personnel.
  • Manage risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma is advantageous.

Professional Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience with international logistics and customs regulations is a plus.

Knowledge, skills & abilitiesResponsibilities require proficiency with Microsoft systems, e.g. Work, Excel, Project and Powerpoint. Additional skills with MRP systems primarily SAP desirable. Knowledge of logistics methods and experience in negotiations and RFP/RFQ'sm, vendor contracts and vendor management desirable.Travel Requirements:May require occasional travel to suppliers, distribution centers, or customers (10%) Apply
