Senior Safety and Loss Prevention Consultant (Healthcare)

Do you enjoy research and working with business owners to help improve their safe work practices? Are you an occupational safety professional looking to advance your career? Let me introduce you to CompSource Mutual! CompSource has been proudly serving Oklahoma workers since 1933, providing workers' comp protection and support in good times and bad. We are passionate about providing a great place to work and are consistently awarded as a “best” and “top” place to work in Oklahoma!

What we're offering:

A full-time Senior Safety Consultant position in Oklahoma City. Competitive salary range targeting $77,000 - $90,000 and benefit package including: free employee medical/dental/vision/life/ad&d insurance, company match 401k with immediate vesting, generous paid time off and wellness leave, floating holiday, and voluntary benefits.

The Role:

In this vital role, you'll partner directly with policyholders and agent partners to proactively prevent workplace injuries through a variety of safety and loss prevention resources. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive loss prevention control strategies, particularly for our most significant and complex accounts.

Your day-to-day will involve leading safety training sessions, conducting thorough worksite assessments to identify hazards and risks, and analyzing claims data to pinpoint injury trends and recommend effective corrective actions. Beyond direct policyholder engagement, you'll also act as a subject matter expert, often directing the activities of other consultants on multi-location accounts, and will be a key liaison for industry associations and agencies, guiding their safety efforts. You'll also collaborate with our internal teams to refine documentation and promote a strong culture of loss prevention.

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or occupational safety certification such as a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required
  • 5 years of experience in industrial relations, safety, safety inspection, safety education, engineering or risk management preferred
