Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist (Creative Design)



What You Will Do

The Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist will support the recruitment process by executing and managing our hiring framework including helping with logistics and coordination among all the participants of the hiring process: candidates, hiring teams, and recruiters. This role involves close collaboration with our outside executive search agencies, talent acquisition business partners, HR business partners, and hiring teams to execute a smooth and efficient hiring process.

This position contributes to our recruiting mission to find and engage top talent, prepare our hiring teams to execute interviews with professional expertise, and encourage anyone who has come through the hiring process here at Clarios to be willing to do it again. Overall, this individual will look for efficiency and process improvements throughout the hiring process and support our TA business partners in their success.

How You Will Do It

  • Acts as a liaison for Clarios by managing relationships with executive search firms when our HR leaders determine the need to engage them. Frequently interacts with agency consultants and our Executive Leadership Team.
  • Keeps lines of communication open, assures forward momentum, reinforces process priorities for Clarios. Supports the various steps in the candidate experience process for executive level roles including the applicant tracking system.
  • Assists with orientation and helping high profile new hires acclimate to Clarios and its systems. 
  • Helps refine and execute the ideal hiring/requisition event framework, with a focus on salaried, higher level positions. This includes creating custom interview packets for hiring teams suited to the open role and creating agendas, instructions, and other communications for the candidates, including scheduling a pre-interview strategy session and a post-interview debrief session. 
  • Monitors compliance with the framework defined by the company, making certain our hiring managers and all people involved in the hiring process (HM+1, HRBPs, etc.) are well-versed and that we are successfully delivering a candidate-friendly process in line with candidate expectations and trends. 
  • Coordinates and schedules / reschedules interviews ensuring a clear and seamless candidate and hiring team experience. Explore options within existing (Workday) or new technology to make this process more efficient and less manual.
  • Obtains feedback at the conclusion of each hiring event and watches over quarterly and annual KPI data, working to continuously improve the process and results. 

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three years' of progressive experience in HR or Talent Acquisition.
  • A high level of familiarity in hiring best practices included Behavioral Based Interview techniques.
  • Strong solutions focus and comfort working with every level of the organization including outside vendors with the ability to challenge others and recommend solutions.
