Production Supervisor (Finance)

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and ensure good Health, Safety & Environment and 5S practices are followed
  • Meet daily production demands while maintain quality and safety standards
  • Ensure customer quality standards are adhered to and related issues are responded to in a timely manner
  • Effectively manage workforce including TWI, coaching, Kaizens, WPS tools and discipline
  • Monitor and respond to day-to-day product and process concerns and ensure just in time delivery
  • Work closely with other departments in problem solving issues
  • Uses WEPS and WPS data driven problem solving techniques
  • Ensure compliance to the Collective Agreement as applicable and Plant Rules
  • Decision-making and problem solving of any technical or scheduling issues arising during the shift
  • Tracks and improves production OEE

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Record of pro-active supervisory accomplishments
  • Three to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and use of Lean Manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, 5S, LTR, SOTs, OEE, Five Questions of Continuous Improvement and the ability to teach WPS (Woodbridge Production Systems) to others
