Continuous Improvement - Quality Control Inspector 3 (Finance)

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm. 8-hour shift (Overtime as needed). North Plant
Assignment
Location: Crawfordsville, IN
As a Continuous Improvement- Quality Control Inspector 3, you will:
*Perform inspections to assure quality standards are met as assigned.
* Collect and record inspection data per procedures.
* Escalate all quality issues identified in the production process to appropriate personnel
for resolution.
* Perform activities to process defective materials identified through inspection processes
according to procedures. Contribute to the development of instructions and
procedures.
* Offer suggestions to improve processes, and participate in special improvement projects
as assigned.
* Participate as a team member in Continuous Improvement events, utilizing A3, 8D,
PDCA problem solving.
* Participate/attend daily LDC reviews representing quality & engage in conversations and
quality topics. Review NCR data during board discussions working with ops team to
understand trends and gaps.
* Color management knowledge a plus.
* Ability to consult with quality team and quality leadership on quality issues and offer
recommendations as needed.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or
office environment directly related to the duties of the job, OR college/tech school or
trade school equivalent experience preferred.
Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program
objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.
Must have basic knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs
such as MS Office, spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job in order to
complete job duties successfully.
Must have god oral and written communication skills to work effectively across multiple
departments.
Must have good organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize
workload.
Ability to occasionally lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
Ability to use basic measurement and quality related tools such as a tape measure, line
gauge, calibers, etc.

Ability to work daily/weekly overtime and weekends, when needed.
Ability to work in a team environment.
ASQ certification a plus. Apply
