The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Information Architect at Solventum will bring world-class Applied Analytics leadership and technical expertise to Data Analytics and AI organization. You will provide strategic direction in data architecture across SAP (S/4HANA/ECC, Datasphere), Non-SAP (MS Dynamics, BPCS), Enterprise Applications (Salesforce, Workday, Concur, Oracle, JDE, MES, External data source, etc..), and cloud platforms (Snowflake), ensuring the delivery of data analytics & AI solutions that directly support Solventum's Business Strategy. This hands-on role requires a strong background in data design, modeling, governance, and the ability to effectively lead and communicate with both technical and non-technical teams across the company.

As a(n) Information Architect you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

  • Lead end-to-end data architecture across Snowflake, SAP S/4HANA/ECC & Datasphere, MS Dynamics 365, BPCS, Salesforce, Workday, Concur, Oracle, JDE, MES, and external data sources, etc...
  • Architect integrated data models that support Commercial Operations, Supply, Finance and other business domains
  • Translate Enterprise Applications, ERP transactional and master data into analytics-ready structures in Snowflake and other downstream platforms
  • Define and standardize key business metrics/KPIs across finance, sales, supply chain, customer operations, IT and manufacturing domains
  • Design data pipelines and ELT frameworks using tools like SAP Datasphere, HVR, Fivetran, and Informatica.
  • Integrate ERP (SAP, MS D365, BPCS, Oracle, JDE) and Non-ERP (Salesforce, Workday, Concur, MES, external sources, etc.) data with Snowflake or other cloud data lakes using best practices for data quality, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust, documented Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM)
  • Support operational and reporting needs by delivering data models for regulatory, financial, and management reporting
  • Provide technical oversight for data access strategies (ODP, CDS Views, APIs) and ensure operational efficiency
  • Contribute to data governance practices by ensuring lineage, stewardship, and metadata are embedded in the architecture
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure GDPR/SOX compliance in data design and usage
  • Act as the data advisor to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment between data capabilities and business goals
  • Lead architecture sessions with functional consultants, product owners, and analysts to validate designs and drive adoption

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 8 years of data analytics experience

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND 12 years of Information systems / Analytics application Consulting experience

AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  • 8 years in Data Architecture or related roles, with at least 5 years of SAP-specific data modeling experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of data engineers or similar technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ERPs such as SAP S/4HANA/ECC, and Datasphere
  • Hands-on with Snowflake, data modeling, SQL, Data Vault or Star Schema modeling

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 1 year of experience with Salesforce, Workday, Concur or any other Enterprise application
  • 2 years with ML/AI, advanced analytics, or data science software Skills include: data engineering, Data Governance, Oral and written communication with senior leadership and front-line developers, strategic thinking, technical leadership, and prior experience building and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Familiarity with integration tools like HVR, Fivetran, or Informatica
  • Deep understanding of key business metrics in IT, finance, sales, logistics, and manufacturing
  • Experience defining analytics and reporting layers, including KPI definitions, aggregates, and consumption views
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
