Interventional Pulmonologist- Assistant Professor, Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine - Internal Medicine, McGovern Medical School (Finance)
The selected candidate will contribute to the education of health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine will provide and supervise patient care in ambulatory lung clinics and inpatient services, postoperative care at the University and affiliated hospitals, performing bronchoscopic procedures, and teaching of residents and subspecialty fellows.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Applicant must have an M.D. degree from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship from an ACGME accredited program.

Preferred applicants will have completed an accredited Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship.
