REGULATORY SPECIALIST (Project Management)

KENT WORLDWIDE™ is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Specialist to support our KENT Nutrition Group's Quality Assurance program. This role is vital to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

As the Regulatory Specialist, you will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs and play a key role in managing regulatory processes, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting internal audits and training initiatives.   • This position is based in Muscatine, IA.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary individual responsible for receipt, investigation and response, as necessary, to State Stop Sale Notices.
  • Maintain customer complaints process/workflow and database
  • Manage Category 2 assay compliance.
  • Oversee third party Pest Control Operator contracts, performance and coordinate training related to pests.
  • Complete and submit tonnage tax forms to appropriate regulatory bodies.
  • Primary individual responsible for operator training program and employee development program.
  • Assist with SOP creation and revision, coordinated with QA Managers
  • Assist with the internal auditing program by conducting audits at KNG facilities.
  • Assist with tasks related to market retrievals/recalls, feed safety and customer complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and procedures.
  • Report potential feed and food safety issues to corporate management.
  • Participate in Corporate QA Meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned by Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs .

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analytical services preferred.
  • Successful communication with peers, either in writing or verbally.
  • Working knowledge of animal feed manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft tools, specifically Word and Excel, including PivotTables.
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP's related to animal feed manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of HACCP (or HARPC) principles related to animal feed manufacturing.
  • Understanding of the KNG Feed and Food Safety Plan preferred.
  • Excellent relationship/team building characteristics.

  • 0 – 20%
