Mortgage Loan Associate (Finance)
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: M-F 8am to 5PM

About the Role
To process mortgage loans from the time of origination to underwriting and, after approval, through closing, shipping, insuring, final documents and loan servicing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Submits mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval.
Communicate with loan officer and underwriter about issues pertinent to property and credit.
Ensures loans are clear to close.
Prepares all required mortgage loan closing documents via Loan Origination System, ensuring no errors or typos are on the documents.
Confirms all closing conditions are met per investor guidelines.
Work with compliance officers on meeting the guidelines for compliance regulations.
Ship closed loan files to investor and notes to warehouse banks.
Clear all outstanding investor conditions.
Ship investor required trailing documents.
Process secondary payoffs along with follow up.
Run required monthly reports.
Process any outstanding escrow holdback per investor requirements.
Cross- train and learn other functions within the department as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Must have excellent interpersonal skills; being able to communicate both in person and on the phone.
Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.
Experience in banking or real estate processing, closing, post-closing preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency of the English language.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to concentrate and work independently.
Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.
Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold the PREMIER Way.
