Ethics and Compliance Intern- Summer/Fall 2025 (Finance)

Summary of Responsibilities

Job Summary:

This internship will provide support to Elbit America's Assurance, Compliance & Ethics (ACE) team, which is a part of the company's Legal group. While the ACE intern will primarily sit with the company's Ethics & Compliance team, they will have valuable cross-functional assignments with corporate marketing and other teams that will gain direct experience in the following areas:

  • Developing and executing ways to market ACE team both internally and externally
  • Assist in maintaining the department SharePoint web page for awareness and education
  • Determine and execute Q3/Q4 project directly with corporate training and comms teams
  • Learn ACE business to increase awareness, education and capabilities of Ethics, Compliance, and Organizational Governance Activities
  • Assist Sustainability group with promotional campaigns through digital and visual means
  • Content Development and Internal Communications Support- assist in the creation of articles and internal communications highlighting various aspects of Elbit America.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, develop engaging content, and promote the company's commitment to ethics. Promoted Brand Image through targeted communications
  • Social Media contribution
  • Training facilitation
  • Desktop Publishing of procedures and information
  • Partner with IT on the development and automation of workflows to improve department efficiencies using Office 365 and OpenText tools.

Requirements:
  • At least two years of Secondary Education or Vocational School
  • Minimum 25 hours hybrid work schedule M-F
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

Responsibilities and Tasks (listed in bullet format) in order of priority to be successful
  1. Participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of this or a similar organization or department.
  1. Develop, suggest, implement, and maintain procedures to support the efficient administration of departmental operations.
  1. Perform various duties relating to the day-to-day operations of the department, program or function such as periodic reports.
  1. Interact directly with colleagues and other internal or external resources in the planning of assignments and completion of projects.
  1. Conduct research and prepare reports based on findings, to include recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
  1. Along with other interns in the Company, participate in a presentation for the Executive Staff designed to summarize the internship experience and deliver at least one project.
  1. Perform a variety of administrative functions including maintenance ofdatabase information by entering and updating content, filing, scheduling, planning and preparation.
  1. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & License or Certification

  • Requires a High School diploma and must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program.
  • Requires utilization of knowledge and skills developed during completion of a specified technical undergraduate degree program with at least 2-3 years of college completed in a major related to the assigned department, program or function.

Skills and Abilities

  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to understand and follow complex, detailed instructions, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and be able to work for short to moderate periods of time without direct supervision.
  • Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
