Manufacturing Engineer II (Finance)



As a Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, design, and maintenance, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you will work out of our Muncie, IN location on an onsite, first shift work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processes and compliance with industry regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues promptly.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost-effective solutions, and ensure that manufacturing operations are optimized for efficiency.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation related to manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, maintenance, quality, and procurement, to ensure smooth production processes.
• Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
