What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead the facility's education and training goals.
  • Assess training needs and create an annual education plan with leadership.
  • Coordinate and oversee in-service training programs and staff development.
  • Coordinate and participate in the recruiting and hiring of staff.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for all newly hired staff.
  • Manage Preceptor Programs to support smooth and effective onboarding.
  • Conduct and document annual competency evaluations.
  • Oversee Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship programs.
  • Maintain compliance records for licensure, Hepatitis B, and TB testing.

What We're Looking For

  • Required: Current Alaska RN or LPN License.
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive team player who thrives in both independent and collaborative roles.
  • A passion for staff development, education, and quality care.
