SUMMARY
The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) will have the responsibility of working alongside current practice administrator to ensure the staff is complicit with the various surgical procedures, regulations, and safety practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Demonstrates clinical knowledge of an ASC and can perform all nursing duties in accordance to the State of Georgia law requirementsParticipates in the hiring process and is responsible for development, evaluation and ongoing management of assigned direct reportsSupports the delivery of quality patient care by holding staff accountable to established patient care and regulatory standards according to AAAHC guidelinesInterprets policies and procedure to nursing staff and patients/familiesMakes changes in clinical assignments based on patient care needs and demonstrated staff competenciesPursue continuous learning to gain additional knowledge in area of clinical specialtyExercises problem solving skills to optimize patient flow while maintaining quality patient careSupports current Nurse Manager with administrative responsibilities and surveying requirementsProactive in compliance and state survey regulationsUnderstands established budget and adjusts resource utilization to minimize variances with Nurse ManagerOther assigned tasks and responsibilities as required by law and/or administration/physicians
