Advanced R&D Engineer (Finance)
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to new product development and technology projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve research, processes, products, and technologies for Honeywell's Spectra Fiber business. You will facilitate design, development, and testing to meet project objectives faster as you commercialize the next generation of high-performance products within Spectra's fiber and ballistic composite portfolio.
You will report to our Sr. R&D Manager and work out of our Colonial Heights, VA location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

As a R&D Engineer/ Scientist II, you will facilitate design, development, and testing to meet project objectives faster as you commercialize the next generation of high-performance products within Spectra's fiber and ballistic composite portfolio.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
