What You'll Get to Do
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP to lead our digital transformation efforts focused on enterprise data, analytics, and AI. This includes data strategy, services, governance, operations, analytics, and automation. The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader as well as a hands-on architect who can leverage data to drive business insights and decisions, transform data into a strategic asset, foster a data-driven culture, and use data as a key value creation lever driving time-to-value. Experience working in the distribution and manufacturing industry segments preferred, with deep know-how of the relevant metrics and KPIs that drive business performance, productivity, and customer service.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Build a scalable data organization, aligning structure, governance, and tools to current and future business needs.
  • Lead teams across IT, Finance, Sales, HR, and Marketing to deliver integrated data solutions.
  • Use data and analytics to uncover trends, drive productivity, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of data projects with clear success metrics, on-time delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Design and operationalize end-to-end data pipelines, models, and platforms for real-time information access.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, integrity, MDM, and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Deliver scalable BI, dashboards, and predictive analytics using AI to drive actionable insights.
  • Champion AI/ML use cases, explore LLMs, and foster innovation to support growth and efficiency.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics, data management, finance and accounting, business analysis, or a related field, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
  • 10+ years of experience setting up and leveraging cost effective operating models (on-site: near-shore: off-shore)
  • Proven experience managing and delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies, cloud platforms, analytical tools, ETLs, and programming languages (examples: Snowflake, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, AWS, Azure, Informatica, SSIS, SQL, Python, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
