What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you will be solely responsible for leading and managing compliance efforts across a portfolio of government-incentivized capital projects
  • You will ensure full adherence to prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) 45Q, Canada Investment Tax Credits, CHIPS Act Davis-Bacon, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funding programs
  • Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: leading compliance efforts, supporting project operations, engaging stakeholders, documenting and reporting, and coordinating financial and legal efforts
  • You will ensure compliance with DOE capital project labor standards and reporting requirements
  • You will also monitor certified payroll submissions and conduct job site interviews
  • Additionally, you will eeview and approve/reject certified payrolls, DBRA forms, and daily reports
  • In this role, you will utilize labor compliance software (e.g., LCPtracker) to manage documentation and reporting
  • Also, you will advise project teams, contractors, and subcontractors on compliance requirements and serve as the primary point of contact for external advisory firms and government agencies
  • You also will provide training and technical assistance to internal teams and external partners
  • In regard to documentation and reporting; you will submit labor classification conformance requests and wage determinations
  • You will also maintain accurate and auditable records of wage rates, apprenticeship utilization, and compliance activities
  • Further, you will support audits and inquiries from federal and international regulatory bodies
  • In this role, you will also collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure labor compliance aligns with contract billing structures and cost reporting
  • Additionally, you will assist in the development of pricing and compliance strategies for government contracts

What makes you great

  • Youhave a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, PublicAdministration, or related field as it is required for this role (Master'sdegree or certifications such as PE, PMP, CPA, or CCE preferred)
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in prevailing wage compliance, laborstandards enforcement, or related construction oversight
  • Further, you have demonstrated experience with Davis-Bacon Act andapprenticeship compliance and familiaritywith DOE-funded project requirements and international tax credit programs
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required forthis role
  • You have strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office and labor complianceplatforms (e.g., LCPtracker)
  • You have experience in a professional services or government contractingenvironment, as it is preferred
