This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 458 and 459 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64. Grow Here .The NP/PA performs physical examinations and treats common episodic and chronic healthcare problems, counsels patients and families, monitors patient progress, and assists with clinical research projects. The NP/PA assistant collaborates with other healthcare team members, consulting and referring as appropriate, but retains responsibility for ongoing clinical management of patients.
The NP/PA will provide operation and clinical oversight of the HBOT chambers, providing comprehensive care to veteran patients participating in the HBOT clinical trial. Develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Collaborates with principal investigators, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth execution of the clinical trial protocol. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate documentation of all study-related activities. Collects of relevant clinical data and research outcomes from patient encounters, medical records, and study assessments. Compiles and analyzes research data, including statistical analysis and interpretation. Educates and supports for veteran patients regarding the HBOT procedure, its potential benefits, and any associated risks. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience working with the Veteran patient population is preferred.
