Service Sales Representative/ Building Automation (Finance)



For Salaried Employees on Commission If Requisition is based in California or posted to all the United States (remote): For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $75,532 - 113,298 per year, and the expected commission range is $20,000 - $200,000 per year (uncapped)

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What You'll Do as a BAS Sales Representative:

  • Drive Growth: Lead the charge in selling Building Automation service solutions, including repairs and maintenance contracts, to new and existing clients.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Engage with clients to understand their operational goals and challenges, then craft tailored service strategies that enhance building performance, energy efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Create Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of building systems to present compelling, value-driven proposals.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with technical teams to ensure service offerings align with both customer needs and technical capabilities.
  • Build Relationships: Cultivate long-term client partnerships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and trust.
  • Stay on Track: Meet and exceed activity metrics for calls, appointments, and sales pipeline development.
  • Stay Organized: Maintain accurate records and manage your pipeline using Salesforce CRM.

What You'll Bring to the Table (Requirements):

  • Education: HS Diploma or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Expertise: 2+ years of experience in Building Automation or related fields, with a strong grasp of HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Sales Acumen: 2+ years of proven success in service sales, with the ability to clearly communicate ROI and performance benefits.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for clients.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, project managers, and support teams.
  • Local Presence: Must reside in the Bay Area or Northern California.
