Physical Therapist (Finance)



The University of South Florida Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to expand our diverse treatment opportunities for our patients. This role includes positions within our Orthopedics, Neurology, Pelvic Floor program, General Pediatrics. Ideal candidate will assist in clinical program development, residency programs, research, and teaching in our DPT classroom. If you're passionate about working in a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, this is the opportunity for you. We seek individuals with experience in orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular disorders. We are also looking to expand both our pelvic floor program and our pediatric physical therapy program. You will play a critical role in shaping clinical programs and advancing physical therapy practices at the University of South Florida. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Minimum Qualification Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, or physics; and a graduate from a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Requires Florida State Licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ABPTRFE Residency Graduate
  • ABPTS Board Certification in Women's Health, Pediatrics, Neurology, Orthopedics, Sports, and/or Geriatrics
  • Certification in Pelvic Health or Pediatric Training (e.g., Herman and Wallace)
  • APTA Certified Clinical Instructor; evidence of participation as a clinical preceptor/mentor
  • Experience in multiple settings (hospital, outpatient, etc.)
  • Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Record documentation
  • Active participation in the APTA or history of professional presentations at state and national levels
