As a Garage Door Installer, youll be a key part of our successdelivering safe, efficient, and professional installation of residential garage doors and related components. We value teamwork, integrity, and a job well done.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately install residential garage doors, door openers, and related hardware while ensuring proper alignment, balance, and functionality.Review job specs, blueprints, and site conditions to determine the best installation approach and address any potential challenges or safety concerns.Interact with homeowners, answer questions, and explain operation, maintenance, and safety features.Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure smooth, on-time project completion.Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment; conduct final inspections to guarantee top-quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience as a garage door installer, carpenter, or in a related construction/mechanical trade is a plus (were willing to train the right candidate!).Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and time-management skills. Ability to read blueprints or work orders.Lift and carry up to 75 lbs, work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
