Supervisor Manufacturing (Engineering)



Manufacturing Supervisor (Night Shift)

What you will do

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will develop and implement replenishment strategies and tactics that meet Clarios goals and objectives; taking seasonal, divisional and specific customer requirements. The successful candidate will be highly detail oriented with a background in manufacturing management using data base driven ERP software and Lean principles. A proven track record of creative problem solving, following through on integrated projects, and effective communication is essential.

How you will do it

  • Manage and analyze customer information, order methods, and trends to inform planning decisions.

  • Formulate, maintain, and execute production schedules and build plans to meet customer demands.

  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to support the production schedule and achieve on-time delivery targets.

  • Expedite workflow and administer production priorities to address dynamic operational needs.

  • Evaluate safety stock requirements and adjust planning strategies accordingly.

  • Manage engineering changes and oversee the introduction of new products and battery turnover.

  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication regarding demand changes, supply issues, and production status.

  • Supervise the Maintenance Team and ensure all activities support production goals and compliance targets (EHS, quality, budget).

What we look for

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years' of Supervisory experience in Production Planning & Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control

  • Excellent organization and communication skills (speak/read/write)

  • Ability to understand and use ERP/MRP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Willing to work overtime to meet critical project deadlines and production goals.

Preferred:

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent degree

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Our Yuma, Arizona distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We opened in 2006, employ more than 180 people, and operate six days per week.
