Accounts Receivable Analyst (Administrative)

Key Responsibilities
Process all cash transactions received via JPMorgan Chase bank feeds
Scan and apply live checks using the JPMorgan check scanner
Create and upload daily lockbox batches into the ERP system
Review all exceptions and unresolved payment items
Maintain and review the unapplied cash list and suspense report
Track unresolved payment issues for weekly team review
Investigate and resolve payment application discrepancies
Prepare refund requests for duplicate or overpayments
Respond to customer inquiries via the shared AR inbox
Reconcile cash payments tied to recent acquisitions
Support monthly closing tasks and meet reporting deadlines
Process customer credit card refunds as required
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable
Familiarity with cash application, customer payments, and reconciliation
Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Solid Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime during peak times
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus
Preferred Attributes
Experience handling high-volume AR transactions
Confidence managing unapplied cash or exception resolution
Ability to balance speed and accuracy under pressure
A calm and professional tone in customer communications
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
