Director, Engineering (Project Management)

Ideal Pase, a leading provider of liquid filling solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our mechanical and electrical engineering teams across multiple sites. You will drive the development, design, and delivery of high-quality, custom-engineered liquid filling solutions for our industrial customers. This role demands a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of guiding teams through complex, project-based design challenges. As a key leader in our growing organization, you will also play a crucial role in driving product innovation, engineering excellence and shaping the future of our liquid filling solutions. This position will oversee engineers in both Eagan, MN and Madison, WI.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and direction for mechanical and electrical engineering teams across multiple sites.Oversee the design of custom liquid filling equipment, including fluid handling systems, PLC-based control systems, and adherence to relevant industry standards (ASME, UL, NEC, C1/D1, etc.).Lead team development, foster an empowered culture, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.Manage product line development, innovation roadmaps, and engineering systems (CAD, PDM).Ensure rigorous design reviews, technical audits, and compliance with customer specifications and contract scope.Drive strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to organizational leadership.
