Sr Director Operations (Project Management)



Job Summary

Medline is growing, and so is our automated Distribution Center in Lacey, Washington. Powered by Autostore technology, this facility is a key part of our supply chain, and we're looking for a dynamic, engaging leader to help shape its culture and take operations to the next level.

Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of DC operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality order fulfillment.
  • Lead daily processes—planning, execution, and performance measurement—across all functions.
  • Build and mentor a team of supervisors, managers, and hourly associates. You'll invest in people, provide recognition, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Serve as a visible, transparent, and approachable leader who knows the team by name, is actively engaged on the floor, and is committed to developing both individuals and the site as a whole.
  • Drive operational excellence while balancing productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Partner with HR to oversee staffing, training and development, and performance management.
  • Manage the DC's capital and expense budgets to ensure resources are well-utilized.
  • Represent the site with key accounts, resolve customer concerns, and support new business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in a distribution center environment.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams of supervisors, managers, and associates.
  • Ability to develop and execute business plans and performance objectives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$152,880.00 - $229,320.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
