What You'll Get to Do
The Fabrication Technician (CNC Technician) is focused on fabricating aluminum metal for our Skylights Department and reports to the Jeremy Shehan.
This role is perfect for an individual who are focused, a team player, and has attention to detail. A vital member of the Skylights Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- This position is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment while producing parts to satisfy production schedules
- Cutting, drilling, and shaping aluminum metal
- Qualified candidates must be able to work 2nd shift with periods of required overtime
- Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
What We're Looking For
- Experience using or ability to learn to read a tape measure to the 16th's
- Experience or the ability to learn to read and understand fabrication drawings
- Experience using powered industrial tools
- Experience with SBZ 140 Machine is a plus!
- Must have experience in CNC Machines
- Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints
- Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned
- Communicate well with peers and management
- Must be able to work 2nd shift, with periods of required overtime
- Preference will be given to applicants with former fabrication experience
