We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented communications leader to drive and elevate our corporate communications strategy. This hands-on role will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying the company's brand and reputation as a recognized industry leader.
As the Senior Director of Corporate Communications , you will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the company's business goals and growth initiatives. You will oversee both external and internal communications, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all channels. This includes leading public relations efforts and fostering a strong internal communications culture that engages and informs team members.
This role reports directly to the Chief Communications Officer in our Jacksonville, FL global headquarters and requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a strong grasp of media dynamics, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the company's visibility and credibility.
Essential Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication Leadership:
- Develop and implement a corporate communication strategy that supports business objectives and enhances brand positioning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all matters related to communications and reputation management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure message consistency and alignment
Public Relations:
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends to inform strategy and identify proactive storytelling opportunities
- Lead relationship external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with strategic goals
Internal Communications:
- Design and execute internal communication programs that foster team member engagement, alignment with company priorities and culture
- Collaborate with the People team and leadership to communicate organizational changes, updates, and initiatives effectively
Brand & Reputation Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing and business unit teams to plan and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and events, as well as initiatives to strengthen the company's brand identity and reputation among stakeholders
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the company's reputation during challenging times
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing corporate communications team, providing guidance, development opportunities, and clear direction to support team and company objectives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts
