Starting Pay: $30.00/hr

Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.16/hr

Additional Incentives:

Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm with Overtime as needed

Schedule: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday but train Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm.

As our Maintenance Electrical Mechanic 4, you will:

  • Work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks; troubleshoot/repair equipment and facility failures, while following all safety and quality control standards.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant machinery and production equipment such as valves, conveyors, compressors, pumps, pneumatic hydraulics and boilers.
  • Troubleshoot, repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters etc. as needed.
  • Enter work orders in the department software tracking program.
  • Responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial or commercial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
  • Operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools, lathes, mills and other tools as necessary following standard operating procedures, (SOPs).
  • Fabricate parts and modify new and existing equipment.
  • Repair and/or troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures .
  • Work on facilities tasks as needed.
  • Open availability to be 'called in' to work for emergencies or after hours projects.
  • Drive company vehicle as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations, carry up to 60lbs, and stand for 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work in varying conditions.
  • Ability to kneel, bend and reach for extended periods of time.
  • May be exposed to controlled chemical mists or vapors.

Qualifications:

  • State or Government issued Driver's License.
  • Knowledge in Relay Logic preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • 2 Years' machine repair and maintenance experience-preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical training with a concentration in machine mechanics strongly preferred.
