Prime Functions:
The Simulation Operations (SIM Ops) Specialist I for the College of Nursing will be responsible for supporting the daily operation and set up of simulation technologies and environments used in undergraduate, graduate, and interprofessional learning.
This role focuses on preparing skills labs, high-fidelity simulation events, and related technologies to ensure effective experiential learning experiences. The SIM Ops Specialist I will provide hands-on support for simulation activities, including setting up equipment, operating simulation systems during sessions, and maintaining a functional learning environment. Collaboration with the simulation program leadership, faculty, simulation educators, and operations staff is essential to deliver high-quality learning events.Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a field related to the discipline of work, and one year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved, to total 5 years.
