Position: Senior Manager, Cloud Intelligent Infrastructure:

Jabil is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Intelligent Infrastructure division and drive transformative growth through inventive solutions in large-scale software production environments. This role is instrumental in ensuring the global reliability and quality of our test network infrastructure supporting Intelligent Infrastructure manufacturing facilities.

As Senior Manager, you will:

  • Lead the architecture, definition, development, and deployment of robust test network infrastructure across multiple customers and manufacturing regions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT teams as well as external customers.
  • Ensure infrastructure deliverables meet the rigorous standards expected in Jabil's world-class manufacturing environments.
  • Contribute directly to manufacturing success and customer satisfaction by supporting high-impact, scalable infrastructure initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, implementation, and automation of test infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Ansible.
  • Develop strategic infrastructure and network plans to support the Intelligent Infrastructure – GCTD organization.
  • Ensure global compliance with governance policies across test networks, security protocols, and infrastructure standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, driving optimized performance of test network infrastructure.
  • Support budgeting activities, including creating and managing infrastructure budgets and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) expenses.
  • Oversee deployment and integration of newly acquired test network solutions across manufacturing sites.
  • Maximize uptime and resource availability for test networks and production applications to support business continuity.
  • Manage diverse network resources to fulfill operational processing needs and support enterprise goals.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, including post-incident analysis and corrective action planning to mitigate future risks.
  • Participate in technology evaluations and the selection process for test network infrastructure tools and platforms.
  • Architect and maintain robust infrastructure, encompassing Wireless, BGP, OSPF, Firewalls, DHCP, Public DNS, SD-WAN, and OCI Cloud Services.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery (DR) strategies and enhance overall network functionality and capability.
  • Champion operational excellence, ensuring reliability, security, and accessibility that meet defined SLAs and OLAs for both internal and external customers.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery and maintenance of key technologies, services, and operational solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and Site Reliability Technicians (SRTs) across global operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 10 years of formal training and hands-on experience in Network Engineering and Administration within enterprise or data center environments.
  • Proven expertise in administering one or more of the following areas:
    • Large-scale monitoring platforms (e.g., Zabbix)
    • Source Control Management systems and CI/CD methodologies, preferably using Azure DevOps (ADO)
    • Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible
    • Network technologies including Wireless, BGP, OSPF, Firewalls, DHCP, Public DNS, SD-WAN, and Cloud services (e.g., OCI)
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages—preferably Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Demonstrated ability to build performance-driven partnerships with third-party vendors and technology providers, including experience in defining IT process standards and performance metrics.
  • Capable of managing multiple deliverables simultaneously across various stages of development and execution.
  • Exceptional collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to drive alignment, foster consensus, and resolve team conflicts effectively.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience leading network infrastructure initiatives, including data center and WAN design, as well as the creation and maintenance of network documentation and diagrams.
  • 10+ years of proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex IT and DevOps environments.
  • More than a decade of experience administering Linux systems in enterprise and data center settings supporting production-grade applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success working across multi-site, multicultural organizations with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally—up to 20% as required.

The pay range for this role is $142,500 - $256,500. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: September 12, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
