Machinist - Level 5 (Finance)



As a Machinist - Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machining equipment to produce high-precision components. Your expertise will ensure the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the success of our aerospace operations.

You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by delivering high-quality machined parts that meet stringent aerospace standards, thereby supporting our commitment to safety and excellence in the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce aerospace components with high precision.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and reduce cycle times.

You will work out of our Urbana, OH site.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in a machining role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation, with a focus on precision machining.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Experience with various machining processes and materials used in aerospace applications.

  • Technical degree or certification in machining or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar advanced machining role, ideally within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards and quality assurance protocols.
