Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation (Remote) (Finance)



The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation is primarily responsible for the development, management and administration of incentive compensation plans for all US based, customer-facing employees and in collaboration with key business partners in Sales, Commercial Operations and Finance. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations North America.

Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will support Insulet's commercial success. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to comprehend business process and context, while also having the technical skills needed to develop and report-out insights at all levels of the organization. This is a hands-on role playing a key position in driving the growth of Insulet over the next several years!

Responsibilities:

  • Drives linkage of corporate strategy to incentive compensation metrics and insights
  • Accountable for accuracy and timely reporting of employee, quota, and plan data
  • Assist with the validation of commission calculations
  • Provide proactive analytics on sales incentives results, compensation effectiveness and insights
  • Support the ongoing review, evaluation, and modeling of new or updated sales incentive programs, contests and SPIFs
  • Drives continuous improvement, automation, and self-service of insights consumption for the commercial team with reporting and training.
  • Conducts analysis and makes recommendations for incentive compensation to drive growth and achievement of commercial strategy and objectives.
  • Builds and maintains strong rapport with commercial business partners in sales, marketing, commercial operations, finance
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as needed

  • Intermediate Tableau skills

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in incentive compensation or commercial analytical roles of increasing responsibility
  • 1+ years' experience working with Sales Performance Management tools
  • 2+ years driving commercial/sales process improvement

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred field of study: finance, accounting, marketing, economics, or information technology)
  • Experience supporting or working with a commercial organization, within the pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical data and/or IQVIA and Workday
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com and database concepts including standard object features, reporting, security settings, and role hierarchy

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel may be required, two to three times a year on average.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $81,825.00 - $122,737.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
