Fiscal & Business Analyst (Finance)



The Fiscal & Business Analyst/ Business Office Administrator focuses on providing management of the Business Office which includes: cashiering, parking services and other revenue collection activities for the various auxiliaries on the Sarasota-Manatee campus.This position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and 0-2 years of fiscal related work experience; or a bachelor's degree in no specific required field and two years of fiscal related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.Working at USF

Works closely with the university Controller's Office. Other bookkeeping duties include creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.

Supervision: The supervisor hires, trains and directly supervises the two Business Office staff members (cashier & parking services specialist).

Procurement/ Purchasing: Uses a university credit card (aka Procurement card, Pcard) when needed. Approves the Pcard charges of other personnel in the unit. Enters requisitions for purchase orders when needed. Prepares invoices for Accounts Payable department for payment.

Budget Management: Reconciles the monthly financial ledgers for the Administrative unit. Analyzes the budget and expense data to locate discrepancies or potential problems. Notifies management of the status.

Training: This position trains the Cashier and Parking Services Specialist as needed. Apply
