Order Fulfillment Supervisor (Finance)



1. Coordinates the order fulfillment process from order receipt through shipment on assigned projects and programs, ensuring orders are processed within the contract requirements.

2. Supervises, schedules, and coordinates the activities of order pickers, personalization and value-add operators, inspectors, and shippers.

3. Ensures orders are processed with 100% accuracy, and within standard productivity expectations.

4. Trains and assists order fulfillment personnel, and makes recommendations for assistance and accommodations to maximize employee participation and contribution.

5. Coordinates restocking of primary picking bins and replenishment shelf locations per schedules.

6. Reviews on-hand inventory balances and advises management of any shortages and/or inventory errors.

7. Recommends substitutions and/or alterations to customer service based on inventory status andback-order aging.

8. Proactively notifies management when demand exceeds existing staffing in any order fulfillment area, and works with all departments to satisfy contract delivery requirements.

9. Supervises inventory transactions to insure all physical locations and inventory counts are correct, stocking locations are up-to-date and properly labeled, and cycle count processes are followed.

10. Reviews orders and inventory balances and schedules and coordinates production embroidery, screen printing, and other direct labor requirements in a timely, cost-effective manner.

11. Establishes procedures, work instructions, templates, and other process assistance media, in conjunction with Quality Control and contract requirements.

12. Approves timesheets for all assigned employees.

13. Supports and assists with recruitment and retention activities for area of responsibility.

14. Provides on the job training to employees and monitors performance to ensure direct reports are competent or moving to competency in their assigned positions.

15. Evaluates and documents employee performance as required by the company, AbilityOne, and/or NYSID.

16. Actively participates in corporate safety by following all safety procedures, creating a safe working environment and practicing and training employees in safe and proper work habits and equipment use.

17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Warehousing & Distribution.
