Senior Prime Vendor Analyst (Project Management)



Job Summary

In addition to performing standard Prime Vendor Analyst responsibilities: - Assist management in delivering targeted training sessions for the Prime Vendor Analyst Program. - Identify areas of opportunity and develop processes to improve business and analyst job performance. - Execute assigned projects based on the defined MBO's.

Job Description

This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as mentor and resource to PVA team. Key participant in new employee on-boarding.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and support the development of processes to improve overall Prime Vendor Analyst Program.
  • Deliver formal and impromptu training designed to improve business and analyst performance.
  • Provide inventory management, pricing and project support for complex customer implementations post go-live and fill in for any open PVA positions as needed.
  • Perform PVA responsibilities for smaller account territory.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for customers' new and existing vendors.
  • Measure the trends, efficiencies and effectiveness of sales and resource allocation and utilization.
  • Prepare and analyze sales forecast, sales results, budget variances, and quarterly business presentations.
  • Create, maintain, and develop relationships with the customer, Medline contacts, and vendor community.
  • Review pricing and ensure pricing rules are reviewed and evaluated prior to implementation.
  • Support sales team by managing contract terms, assisting with brand conversions, and tracking all savings and projects.
  • Provide issue resolution or support in the following areas (not limited to): inventory surplus, backorders, and outstanding invoices. Initiate and partner with the internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, IS and Finance to develop, create and maintain reporting requirements and ensure systems provide accurate and timely data.

Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of sales analysis and support OR high school diploma and at least 7 years of experience in sales analysis and support.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organization.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous analytics experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Previous inventory or supply chain analytics experience.
  • Experience providing training and developing process documentation/user manuals.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$67,080.00 - $97,240.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
