Senior Manager Travel Expense (Project Management)

Job Summary

Responsible for leading the company's global travel and expense programs, including audit and compliance, vendor management, and corporate card administration. Partners with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Procurement to optimize systems and data, ensuring strong controls and timely reporting of travel spend.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and training for travel and expense systems (e.g., Concur).

  • Develop and enforce travel and expense policies; monitor compliance.

  • Provide employee training and maintain internal resources.

  • Deliver reporting and analysis to support budget and compliance goals.

  • Identify and implement process improvements.

  • Manage global expense policy compliance and resolve exceptions.

  • Approve and reconcile travel-related invoices.

  • Administer global travel credit card and P-card programs.

  • Coordinate global rollouts of expense systems.

  • Audit expense reports and promote mobile app usage.

  • Maintain vendor relationships for expense management services.

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit and Compliance on fraud detection and regulatory needs.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead U.S. and offshore teams through managers and supervisors.

  • Oversee major projects and budgets.

  • Develop and implement departmental policies.

  • Manage staffing, performance reviews, and team development.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Communications, or related field.

Work Experience

5+ years in corporate administration; 2+ years in people management.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels of the organization.

  • Effective handling of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated discretion and independent judgment.

  • Ability to work effectively both as a team player and as an individual contributor.

  • Strong customer focus and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Proficiency with Concur expense reporting system and online credit card management systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and advance use of Excel.

Preferred Job Requirements

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Experience in a strong compliance environment.

  • Experience using Concur.

  • Experience supporting business travel.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
