Are you ready to power the future of renewable energy? Linxon is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this pivotal role, you'll help ensure the highest standards of quality across transformative EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects—including Battery Energy Storage Systems and high-voltage substations. What will you do?

Quality Management Systems:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems, specifically tailored to the unique requirements of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), EPC, and substation projects.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Inspections and Audits:

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with Linxon's quality standards, client requirements, and industry regulations in the context of BESS projects.

  • Collaborate with project teams to address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide guidance and support to ensure on-site activities follow all mandatory quality deliverables including project quality plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and required documentation.

Quality Planning:

  • Develop and execute detailed quality plans for our EPC projects outlining key quality control activities and milestones.

  • Align quality assurance processes with project objectives and client expectations.

  • Coordinate & monitor required inspections for day-to-day activities to ensure alignment with contract specifications and quality standards. Liaise with appropriate disciplines and customer to support quality surveillance. Intervene when the quality of work is at risk or compromised and escalate accordingly.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance reports

  • Generate timely and informative quality reports for project stakeholders.

  • Manage project documentation by tracking and performing document submittals/transmittals to key customers.

  • Verify document submittals for accuracy and revision control

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in quality assurance and control activities,

  • Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality management process for diverse energy projects.

Training and Collaboration:

  • Provide training on quality processes and standards to project teams, promoting a culture of quality consciousness within the unique requirements of our EPC energy projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related challenges and ensure timely project delivery.

Who you are?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and control within the construction, engineering, or energy industry, with a specific focus on Engineering Construction Procurement energy projects.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with document control management and data record keeping
