GCF - Head of Client Administration and Loan Operations, MD (Finance)



Who we are looking for

GCF is seeking a Global Head of Client Administration and Loan Operations for itslending portfolio. This position reports directly into GCF senior leadership. This seasoned Operations executive will lead a global team of subject matter experts who manage the set-up, compliance, administration, closing and servicing of GCF's loans. They will also oversee GCF's Operational Risk and Compliance Team, Regulatory Reporting Team and lead other key regulatory initiatives. This global team is comprised of 60+ individuals based in the United States, Poland and India and works in close collaboration with both GCF's Front Office Relationship Managers and numerous global senior stakeholders from around the company. This individual will oversee back office loan servicing and transaction processing teams, who manage internal and external service providers. This executive will also lead and drive relationships with external and internal technology/systems owners and is responsible for successful execution of GCF's middle and back office technology initiatives. The successful applicant should have significant operations experience with a proven track record of process improvement and driving strategic change. Client onboarding, credit/banking and client administration experience as well as an understanding of State Street's role, value proposition, visibility, evolving client needs and industry developments in Credit Lending markets are also critical for this role.

What you will be responsible for

  • Reenginer critical loan servicing functions and process flows to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve client satisfaction
  • Provide operational expertise to guide the implementation of various workflow tools, loan platform improvements, and the realignment of Loan Operations team structure
  • Deepen and drive GCF's understanding of various loan accounting platforms and applications such as Loan IQ, Wall Street Office, and McCracken Financial Solution Corp's Strategy
  • Hire, develop and lead a high performing, global team working with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver a client focused and efficient service experience
  • Oversee management of Client Administration, including AML/KYC, regulatory compliance and deal execution
  • Provide input and guidance into the development and assessment of new products and services, which have considerable revenue impact for GCF
  • Steer relationships with internal and external service providers including management of vendor interactions
  • Oversee GCF's Operational Risk and Compliance team
  • Champion a culture of risk excellence and ensure adherence to State Street's internal Risk Management and Control frameworks
  • Manage and coordinate internal reviews, audits and regulatory exams
  • Direct and influence GCF's systems architecture, technology improvements and deal workflow
  • Represent GCF in all applicable committees, boards, advisory forums and regulator meetings

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in Credit Servicing/Operations, with a proven track record and experience in driving improvements in process and service.

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $252,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
