Purchasing Analyst (Finance)

The Purchasing Analyst is first level position which is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate with a desire for entry into a the Finance, Procurement or Operations areas of a healthcare company. The position is responsible for working on the daily operations of the Purchasing Department. Duties include but not limited to; Utilizing the Coupa system to process and approve requisitions for the procurement of all corporate and satellite office supplies, goods & services; request pricing from suppliers, assist other employees with requisitions and other purchasing questions, and onboard and maintain vendor records and provide financial analysis.

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for assisting the purchasing of corporate office and all satellite locations utilizing Coupa Procure to Pay in an indirect procurement/purchasing environment.
  • Assist employees and vendors in the vendor onboarding process.
  • Request competitive pricing from vendors.
  • Run reports and extract to Excel for additional analysis.
  • Ensure financial accuracy of purchase orders and purchasing reports.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Finance in a seamless Procure to Pay process.
  • Update and maintain centralized procurement files, including vendor files, contracts, leases, etc.
  • Assist employees with Coupa training and order placement.
  • Work with internal customers on sourcing goods and services.
  • Create monthly performance reports for management.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager Purchasing with special projects, sourcing events, etc.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Minimum Experience:

Work experience in a customer-facing environment- retail, food service, etc. desired.

Education/Licensure:

BS in Business or related field

Other:

Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work with data in various formats

Must be detail oriented.

Must have strong organization and analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and complete assignments on-time.

Able to exercise discretion, good judgment, and handle matters of confidentiality.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service skills

Pay Range: $58,531.00 - $87,797.00
