Safety Systems Specialist (Finance)



Job Summary: This role is designed to provide expert-level support in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) systems and data management, including SharePoint, Intelex and GDMS platforms. The position will serve as a key resource for statistical analysis, systems configuration, and documentation workflows. It will support both the EHS team and Document Control initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Intelex platform, supporting data integrity, reporting, and system optimization. - Provide systems support for GDMS, including collaboration with Document Control to facilitate the migration of content from EDMS. - Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports to support EHS and quality initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system capabilities with business needs. - Support ongoing projects led by the EHS team and Document Control, including system testing, user training, and documentation. - Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or vendors as needed for resolution. - Maintain documentation of system processes, workflows, and user guides. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required. - Advanced degree or certifications in data analytics, systems management, or quality systems is a plus. Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in systems support, data analysis, or EHS/quality systems administration. - Experience with Intelex, GDMS, or similar platforms strongly preferred. - Familiarity with document control systems and regulatory compliance processes is a plus. Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and visualize data. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools. - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
