The Business Analyst for NDC Gateway will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting NDC standard messaging used as the channel for connection between New Skies and third party sellers.

The successful candidate will work with Navitaire and Amadeus development teams, and airline customers to identify/clarify business requirements and provide implementation support. This position involves collaboration with internal and external teams, industry organizations, and other entities to identify and address complex problems and to deliver solid, successful, and innovative products and solutions that support our company and customer's objectives. This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in our Minneapolis or Salt Lake City office 2-3 days a week.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Perform requirements elicitation.
  • Perform business and systems analysis.
  • Document and clarify business requirements and produce detailed use cases.
  • Refine the product backlog so that maximum product value is derived from integrated. increment created by scrum teams.
  • Participate in agile events (refinement, planning, reviews, retrospectives) when applicable / required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Stratos, New Skies, and other core teams. Facilitate coordination between teams.
  • Coordinate different functional and technical streams to ensure end to end solution consistency.
  • Present functional demonstrations of new software features.
  • Provide on-going assistance to Navitaire Development, Product, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support teams.
  • Perform product validation testing of new functionality.
  • Assist with the creation and update of customer and release documentation.
  • Understand industry trends around NDC, interline, and passenger service system.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Business Analysis, System Analysis, Development or Testing or related role.
  • Proven ability to document and solve problems and issues effectively.
  • Can easily understand integration/connection with different systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible work schedule; willing to travel
  • Bachelor's degree or above preferred

Desired Experience:
  • Experience in Legacy Distribution / New Skies / NDC
  • Knowledge of NDC API message formats and process flows
  • Experience using API testing tools such as SoapUI
