Advanced Electrical Design Engineer (Finance)

As an Advanced Electrical Design Engineer- Analog here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design of new products, as well as supporting existing products in our high-performance accelerometer portfolio. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location.

In this position responsibilities will encompass architecture generation through detailed design and verification testing. A successful candidate will have a background in analog electrical engineering and have ability to work closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing functions.

The annual base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $145,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of four years of related engineering experience with analog circuits and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering, or related scientific discipline such as physics.
  • Demonstrated experience with analog circuitry and precision electronics.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the design and testing of precision accelerometers.
  • Good understanding of fundamental physics.
  • Experience with performing worst-case analysis.
  • Experience with Matlab, Mathcad, Simulink, and Spice design tools.
  • Experience with Arduino programming and data collection.
  • Ability to make data based and timely decisions while balancing risk.
  • Familiar with Six Sigma Methods.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in use of Office Suite of programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project.

  • Independently design and test analog, digital circuits and systems.
  • Execute project subtasks by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development.
  • Perform simulations, data analysis, define test procedures, and review results to determine compliance requirements.
  • Status reporting to senior technical staff and direct management.
  • Assemble and present material for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
  • Drive new product development to schedule and budget.
  • Support factory RCCA activity.
