Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Sustainable Beef. In this role, you will report to the IT manager. This role will oversee the management, support, and maintenance of all technology systems within the plant floor. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance technology solutions while fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation among your team. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a reliable IT environment will be essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency as it pertains to the plant floor.
Collaborate with department managers on technology projects, ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs.
Maintain plant software platforms, MES information accuracy and general health of the plant infrastructure.
Provide clear communication regarding system outages, maintenance, and updates to all stakeholders.
Work closely with end users to propose and implement new hardware and software solutions.
Ensure thorough testing of all hardware and software modifications prior to production deployment.
Oversee system documentation control, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in maintenance or mechanical fields preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing plant is strongly preferred.
Minimum of three years of relevant IT experience.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and motivate employees.
Participate in training programs to improve skills.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Functional, working, and troubleshooting knowledge of: Window 11, Microsoft 365, MS Dynamics BC, PLC, Printers, HMIs, Hand Scanners is a plus.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Maintain good personal hygiene.
Lift, push, and pull products in a cold/hot environment
